Our design services begin with an in-home design consultation up to 120 minutes. We will meet with you in your home or on the job site. During this time we will take a tour of your home, talk about your design goals and objectives. We provide you with design advice and recommendations, and a great direction for your project. We also discuss details such as your design aesthetic, how you will be using the space, what inspires you, your time-frame for completion, and your budget.
This meeting is approx. – 120 min and we charge $250 for the consultation which is paid in advance.
Within 48 business hours of our consultation we will submit a detailed scope of work with line items and ideas discussed in our initial consultation. Once the scope of work, design proposal and design fees are approved and the 50% design fee deposit is paid; we’ll schedule a a preliminary design presentation meeting for 3-4 weeks.
During these 3-4 weeks we’ll get to work on developing a design concept for your space(s). This will include, but is not limited to a floor plan/ furniture layout, furniture selections, fabrics, lighting, accessories, and consultation with tradespeople who may be in collaboration with your project.
This is where we meet with you to go over the details of your custom design plan. This includes all drawings, color scheme, mood board, fabric samples, furniture selections and budget breakdown including estimated costs for any work by our trades and artisans. This is when the Letter of Agreement is signed and the balance of our design fee, plus 100% of the furnishings budget is required.
During this stage we handle all of the purchasing and procurement. We create all purchase orders, track orders, assess lead times, note any back-orders or discontinued items that may delay the project, and make decisions whether or not to re-select. During this time, we make sure that our projected timeline is adhered to by all vendors.
If your project requires construction during this time we will also be collaborating with contractor and/or tradepeople while making necessary site visits to ensure a successful process and completion.
This is where all items we ordered are received at our warehouse, inspected for damages, tagged and stored for the big installation day. We coordinate all deliveries, schedule all trades that will be involved for the final installation.
We will coordinate and schedule a date for your project installation. We will be on site supervising all aspects of the project. All furniture installation, styling and curated process will take place. At the end of the day, we’ll reveal the space to you and do a walk-through together. You’ll be able to see how all the details, design and planning have come together and appreciate the full effect of our design and collaboration together, in a unique well-curated space for you to enjoy!
This is where we meet to close out the file and make sure that you are fully satisfied with your new space(s).
We will also discuss a convenient day for us to schedule a professional photographer to shoot pictures of the project.
